The Alpha Program at Trinity
Lutheran Church- Palmer
The Alpha Course - has been offered to Millions of people all over the
world and is currently being offered by thousands of churches, prisons &
military bases right now to explore the meaning of life..it'll be offered
here in Palmer beginning Sept 17, 2008 (Wednesday's)
Some sample Questions about the meaning of Life- offered in a friendly atmostphere,
very low key and with lots of fun for the whole family (Adults, teens and tots.
* Who is Jesus?                                                                                 * Why Did Jesus Die?
* Why and How Should I Read the Bible?                                     *Who is the Holy Spirit?
*How Does God Guide Us                                                                *Does God Heal Today?
*Why and how do I pray?                                                                 *Does God Guide Us?
*What about the church?
What will happen at these Alpha Meetings? What's going on for teens and older
children? What about my younger children?
We'll have a meal probably something light- like soup, rolls & dessert with beverages= 1 hr  
We'll watch a video- age appropriate for adults, teens and children.-45 min.
Coffee and group discussion for Adults-1 hr ; Teen discussion- 1 hr.
Play area and supervision offered for young children - 1 hr
Who will come to these Alpha meetings?
Everyone is welcome from any background, religion or non-religion, from any
viewpoint.  People will choose to attend for any number of reasons- some might want to
have this discussion but don't want to approach friends, some may wonder if God exists
at all and if there's any point to life, some may feel they really never understood the
basics of the Christian faith, some may be concerned with what happens after death..or
be curious about why some people choose to be Christians. Alpha is a course for people
who think there's a possibility that there's something more..
There is no fee to attend the Alpha Course other than your time!
